When Paris Hilton started seeing Benji Madden February this year, the first thing that I thought was when this so-called ‘love’ is going to end. Of course knowing Paris’ notoriety when it comes to relationships, you can’t blame people to get cynical.

However, to prove people wrong, the two’s already hitting their seventh monthsary and still going stronger. In fact, the couple is doing a record together with which our dear heiress describes as “happy and fun” duets.

“The songs are just being mixed right now and should be done soon. I’ve got a recording studio at my house in Los Angeles and so we’ve been working there every night. It’s been fun. Our songs are just happy and fun dance music. It reflects what Benji and I are like together — happy and fun,” says Paris in an interview.

I just hope this thing lasts longer, Paris. ***Smiles***

Aside from fashion and shopping, what is one word that most people would automatically associate with Paris Hilton? – Partying!

And so what’s gotten into our dear heiress lately claiming the celebrity social scene is leaving her feeling ‘empty’?!

In an interview with British magazine Heat, Paris shares, “I don’t want to go to clubs now. I was caught up in a lifestyle that seemed fun at the time, but ultimately left me feeling very empty.”

Insisting how her boyfriend, Benji Madden has reformed her, she adds, “My boyfriend is my best friend. I stay home a lot and just enjoy my time with Benji. I’m a different person today.”

Paris? Quits partying?! Duh!

I just hope Paris heard herself there so she could take those words back.

“When I was little I loved playing with dolls. Now that I’m grown up, this show concept has given me my own real live dollhouse by having the BFF contestants. I will admit…I love texting So it was naturally part of taping the show with the BFF contestants…I can’t wait for you to see how we used the messages throughout the show.”

On the update that she did on her MySpace blog last week, Paris Hilton was obviously really excited on her latest MTV reality series, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.

With the show’s premiere nearly coming on September 30, I guess it’s just good to get a glimpse of what the show will be like thought its trailer.

After a grueling week of promotions and other marketing commitments, it seems like Paris Hilton gave herself some break and went back to her first love. – Partying! (Sorry for that Benj).

Anyway, it’s TGIF last August 29 for our dear heiress as she was seen enjoying the night at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas to celebrate the Labor Day holiday weekend on the mega club’s VIP stage.

Paris, who arrived with her sister, Nicky and the latter’s boyfriend, David Katzenberg was clad in a daring red frock that revealed those ‘wonderful’ cleavage again (thanks for the push up bra, huh?!).

And while it’s good to see Paris spending some time with her sister, it’s actually a wonder why her ever ‘supportive’ and ‘loving’ boyfriend, Benji Madden is out of the action. Hmmm… ***wonders…wonders…***

With a target of 400 outlets worldwide, do you think it’s safe to say that Paris Hilton’s line of handbags is ready to conquer the world?

Well maybe not for some. But with Paris Hilton’s notorious image, I think this one’s a big leap for our dear heiress, who I now I believe is really a marketing genius.

Anyway, back to her handbags. DFNI Online reports about the upcoming debut of Paris’s line of handbags called The Confidence.

While I didn’t really believe those rumors pertaining to Paris Hilton and Benji Madden’s break-up, it’s still good to hear a statement from our dear heiress clarifying the issue.

In an interview with People during the launch of her hair extension line, “Bandit,” Paris clears those rumors saying, “People always make things up. We’ve never fought in our lives and we get along better than any other couple I know.”

As for them celebrating their sixth month apart, Paris only has this to say, “His tour will finally be over so it will be nice just to be alone and together off the tour bus.”

“I’ll cook him a nice dinner and stay inside and watch TV. I make the best lasagna,” Paris promises.

Awww… ain’t that really sweet?!

When was the last time I heard of that phrase? Well I guess that was with Lydia Hearst who insisted that she’s “a Hearst, not a Hilton!”

And now, history seems to repeat itself with another (wanna-be) celebrity dissing people who’s been comparing her with Paris Hilton. – Aubrey O’Day.

Yup, the Danity Kane star has recently hit out at people who liken her to our dear dear heiress saying it was “horrible” for them to make such comparison.

Although blonde like Paris, Aubrey insisted that she is “nothing like that girl (Paris).”

Aubrey says, “Whenever I carry my dog around, people say ‘Paris Hilton’.
That’s horrible because I absolutely love my dog and I’m nothing like that girl. Like, nobody can have a dog? I think any white girl with blonde hair who carries around a dog is compared to Paris Hilton.”

“I’m not concerned with who people think I am. I’m just concerned that people know who I am.” She added.

Yeah right!

The Paris Hilton empire sure is growing and growing.

From her clothing line that much covers almost everything (lingerie, make-ups, tees, jeans, and more) to her shoe line, handbags, a planned nightclub, and of course hair extensions, our dear heiress has just proven that when it comes to business, she definitely is unstoppable.

Launching the “Bandit” hair extension headband with Sally Beauty Supply at a private residence in Malibu, Paris indeed showed how an extended hair can add spice to a look.

Always the business woman that she is, Paris Hilton was said to have already taken over the lease of a prime building in Las Vegas and plans to make it as a hip new club in the city.

Mirror reports that our dear heiress has already invested a whooping £3.2million of her own cash to redesign the interior of the place and fit it out with plush leopard print accessories.

The problem however is for the place’s name. “Her original imaginative plan - to call the club Paris- had to be scrapped when she was told there was already a casino in town with that title.”

The report further says, “Paris is determined to make a go of this club. She’s investing a lot of her own money into the project and believes she can make a go of it by roping in all her celeb pals to check it out.”

Paris surely is turning out to be one true business tycoon, eh.

Browsing over the net for a good post today, I found out that People.com is running a poll entitled “Want to Be Paris Hilton’s Best Friend?”.

People tells:

The hours are long, the travel demanding and the paparazzi annoying, but there’d never be a velvet rope you couldn’t glide by with only a smile and the drop of a certain name.

As Paris Hilton searches for best female friends in the United States, in an MTV show debuting Sept. 29, and in Britain, in a show launching there next year, PEOPLE wants to know if you’d be interested in the honor.

As of this writing, 81% says NO, they don’t want anything to do with Paris, much more to be her BFF, while 19% says YES!

Well I actually did answer the poll, too. And guess what I clicked? – Yes!

Of course, if I would be given the chance to be Paris’s best friend, I would definitely grab it. It would be sheer hypocrisy on my part if I say no to an opportunity to be close with Paris or any celebrity for that matter.

On second thought, some people would probably think that our dear heiress is no good for a friend. After all, the saying goes, tell me who your friends are, I’ll tell you who you are, still proves true.

But hey, Paris Hilton as your best friend? Why not?!

Paris Hilton’s attendance at the Apple Lounge Grand Opening in California last week must’ve really been ‘productive’ (in terms of publicity) as she’s getting a lot of attention for a lot of things at the event.

First, people talked about that cleavage she had at the party, which was actually because of the push-up bra she wore. Then it was also reported that our dear heiress’s hair that time was also drawing attention as her hair extensions have seem to be very obvious. Now, I just found out that on that event, Paris also ended her feud with fellow socialite, Lindsay Lohan!

Well of course I know the issue is soooo 2006. But you know, Paris is Paris!

Ted Casablanca of E!Online Australia relates what happened at the event:

“Both baddie babes arrived around the same time for the opening of the West Hollywood club. P.H. came with her mostly blond entourage, while Lindsay’s pack consisted largely of gays, insisted several fruit-and-follicle witnesses.

And just when gyrating Lindsay and Paris were in danger of literally bumping into each other—both infamous femmes had, up until this moment, taken great pains to avoid speaking or looking at each other—Paris, like a bejeweled, overly coiffed gazelle, leapt across the dance floor to hug a shocked Lindsay, who limply hugged back.”

That said, I guess it’s time we move forward.

Paris Hilton indeed made noise when she countered the ad campaign of U.S. Republican presidential candidate, John McCain that featured her and Britney Spears in an ad against Barack Obama.

Others got amused, some laughed, but I definitely loved the wit in it!

Fortunately, I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed the witty spoof video that our dear heiress did. Browsing over the net, I stumbled upon this editorial article by John Diaz of San Francisco Chronicle.

Entitled “The Paris Hilton Factor in Campaign 2008,” the article delves on how the spoof video made by our dear heiress would now influence ad campaigns for this coming election.

If you can still remember, Paris Hilton announced last June that she’s teaming up with Dollhouse brand clothing to come up with her own line under the latter’s name.

When I learned about this, I was actually quite excited about how her clothing line will be. After all, Dollhouse is known to produce trendy and funky clothes in very affordable prices. Wouldn’t it be cool to wear something from Paris Hilton?

What about, wearing Paris Hilton like almost literally?!

Well yes, you read that right. When our dear heiress said she’d be producing her line of clothes with Dollhouse, she actually meant that seriously. Like having her face imprinted on the shirts!

That’s what I actually found out when I visited dollhouse.com and saw the showcase of T-shirts with various prints of Paris’s face.

Here are some of those shirts:

Above is a Paris Hilton Color Adjustment Tee. Featuring multicolored stripe portrait of Paris, on front; silver foil “Paris” block style name, on bottom right front corner, the shirt is sold to US and Canada residents for $34.

Sold for $34, My Floating Faces Tee features an all-over kaleidoscope design of Paris’ portrait with our dear heiress’s name across the chest printed in Gothic script, with rhinestone embellishment.

Now here’s a tee I think I’d consider wearing. My Angel’s Tee a screen print design of Paris Hilton, with foil and faux rhinestone accents on the front. It has an elongated style, with slight flare at the waist.

Aside from this kind of tees, the site also offers denim retails that ranges from $78 to $90. Affordable, eh?!
